What is Luban?
Luban is frankincense: aromatic tree resin traditionally warmed or burned for its fragrance. Our frankincense comes from Dhofar, Oman.
Which grade should I choose?
- Royal Hojari: bright citrus and pine notes, with pale resin tears.
- Classic: a balanced, warm resinous scent with gentle citrus and woody notes.
- Traditional: deeper woody, earthy and balsamic notes.
Aroma is personal, and the colour and size of natural resin vary between pieces. Explore the three grades.
How much is in a jar?
Our current Royal Hojari, Classic and Traditional frankincense jars each contain 50 g of resin.
Do I need a burner and charcoal?
For the charcoal method, you need a suitable incense burner, charcoal and tongs. Burners and charcoal are sold separately. Read our usage guide before starting.
Can I eat it or make frankincense water?
Our products are offered for incense use. We do not provide instructions for eating them or preparing drinks.
How should I store it?
Keep your resin in its closed jar, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Where do you deliver?
We offer DPD delivery to Hungary and the European destinations shown on our Shipping & Delivery page. Expected delivery is 5–7 business days. Delivery availability and charges are shown at checkout before payment.
Can I shop in HUF or EUR?
Yes. Hungary uses Hungarian forint (HUF), and our Europe market uses euro (EUR). Use the currency selector to switch your shopping market. Shopify confirms the final currency based on your delivery destination at checkout.
What if my order arrives damaged or I need help with a return?
Email thelubanhouse@gmail.com with your order number and a description of the issue. If an item arrives damaged, include photos of the item and packaging so we can review what happened. This does not affect your statutory rights.
