How It Started
Luban House started with a simple idea: to bring real Omani frankincense to people in Europe and share something that has been part of our culture and history for centuries.
I wanted to create something that respects the tradition of luban, while presenting it in a way that fits naturally into modern life. That’s where Luban House came from.

For us, luban is more than just a nice smell. It has history, culture, and a feeling behind it. We believe that old traditions can still have a place in modern homes without losing what makes them special.
That’s why we care about keeping things simple, authentic, and honest. We want you to know what you’re buying, where it comes from, and why it matters.
Why Luban House?
There are many incense products out there, but we wanted to do things differently. Instead of trying to make frankincense something it isn’t, we want to let the natural character of real luban speak for itself.
We combine the tradition and quality of Omani frankincense with simple, modern packaging and a fresh approach. Our goal is to make something that feels both traditional and modern.
Built by a Student
Luban House is also a very personal project.
I’m a student living and studying in Budapest, and I started this brand from the ground up. I’m learning everything as I go — from sourcing and packaging to sales, marketing, and building the website.
It’s still a small brand, and I’m proud of that. Every order and every person who discovers Luban House means something to me.
I don’t know exactly where this journey will take us yet. But I know I want to build something real, while sharing a tradition that I believe deserves to be experienced by more people.
