A warm introduction to the ritual of Omani frankincense. The Traditional Starter Kit pairs our Traditional Luban with the sculptural Noir Tassel burner and quick-light charcoal, bringing the three core essentials together at a lower price than buying them individually.

• Quick-Light Incense Charcoal — one roll of 10 Carbopol tablets.

Why start with a kit?

These burners use charcoal to warm the resin and release its fragrance. This set brings the matching pieces together, so you can begin with confidence and keep using the burner as you replenish your frankincense and charcoal.

Before your first burn

You will also need a lighter or matches and heat-resistant tongs; these are not included. Follow the charcoal manufacturer's lighting instructions. Use only the burner's intended metal holder, on a stable, non-flammable, heat-resistant surface in a well-ventilated space. Once the charcoal is ready, add a small piece of frankincense.

Never leave burning incense unattended. Keep away from children, pets and flammable materials. Do not touch or move the burner while hot, and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.

Keep the decorative tassel and cord away from the hot bowl and sparks. Remove them before use if they are detachable.
